I saw two really good movies today! They were completely different from one another, but both really good in their own right!

First, Kade and I went to see "The Losers". Good thing there were only 5 other people in the theatre with us, since at one point I burst out in a really squeaky and high laugh! Loved the movie! Check one thing off my list of things to do before I head to China! :)

The second was a movie sent to us by my brother. It was called "Crossing", and is a Korean film. Along with being a well acted, well scripted, to the point and horrifyingly honest movie, it really made me think about some things. By the end of it, I had to go outside for a bit and pray and cry over my kids, who I miss very much. {True, my kids are Chinese not Korean, but the movie brought up some issues that made me think of them.} I am so very tired out from the hard cry I had, but I am feeling better now.

I thought that I was sleeping with eyes closed tight.

First of all, there is a good reason for the no post on Saturday! After getting home from work,I pretty much only got out of bed to grab my IFC, and then for dinner! The rest of my afternoon was spent with as little movement as I could do! In order to have posted a photo, I would have had to get up, take a picture of something, and then upload it. That is a ton of moving when even rolling over to the side hurts! lol I figured, hey, I am the one that decided to post everyday. No one made me, so I can skip it. I'm sure no one is going to care if they do not hear from me for a day. Right? Right! Hence...no post on Saturday.

As for the 'real' Muffin of the day, the photo kinda already says it...but I thought I'd repeat it just to be clear! :D I want to make and collect as many hand made scarves and wash cloths as I can to take to the kids at camp! I think it would be awesome for them to have something that was made just for them, and something that can be useful and helpful/healthful, something else to remind them once camp is over that they are loved. I can not make any promises, but my hope is to take pictures of the kids with the scarves so that I can then share them with the makers, to let them see who now has it. Thats the plan at least. Wanna help?!

I have to carry a shot of Epi with me no matter where I go in case of an allergy attack. It is suggested that you check often to make sure the medicine inside tube has not gone bad. This is done by holding up the injector so that you can look through the window given, and make sure the serum has not turned yellow or cloudy.
So how smart was it for the manufacturer of one of my Epi-pen to put the little window on one side with yellow sticker on the other?

When my friend came to see me at work today, he told me that shortly after I return from China, he will be moving out of state for school. I gave him a hard time, saying that was sad that I would then not be able to ever see him as we pretty much only ever get to visit when I run into him at his work. {The store we use to work in together.} He asked me what my future plans were, and I explained about being in China longer this year to see how things would go as a House Mom, in hopes that I will soon move there and make that my job. I then had to go take care of a customer, but when I got back his first words were "So wait now. You are going to give me a hard time for moving out of state for 2 years, but you are going to move to the other side of the world? How does that work?" HAHAH!!!

I see the moon and the moon sees me.

For Christmas, I got a $25 movie card. I have yet to see it. There just has not been any movies out that I think seemed good enough to use it on. HOWEVER, I do wanna use it before I head out of country for the summer. Sadly, Despicable Me comes out while I'm in China. I'm thinkin The Losers looks good, and that comes out later this week I think. Not sure yet though. I don't wanna just use it for the sake of using it. I want it to be a GOOD movie. HHmmm.

More Updating

I’ve not been updating my blogs because so much has been happening and I have not been able to give it the proper time I think it all deserves to be fully described and detailed in every glorious little detail and tidbit.

So I’ve decided to give up.

No, not on blogging, but on blogging the big stories. At least for now.

I have decided to post one photo to facebook everyday, and along with that, I will be posting one ‘Random thought/idea/tidbit/quote’ of the day as well. {Though, instead of that long title, it will be called “Random Muffins’ } This might be something that has been on my mind, or something that I heard, or something I’m thinking of that might not make sense to a single other person on the planet! :)
